Variable Stability Flight and Ground School Test Education

The ½ day package is the perfect amount of time for a quick introduction to variable stability aircraft. This includes a ground school, VSS ground simulator, and a Variable Stability System / In-Flight Simulation experience. Pilots or engineers at any skill level are welcome.

Although we recommend the center of gravity safety demonstration, with its accompanying safety benefits, each customer will be able to pick either the center of gravity or in-flight icing safety demonstrations. This experience is only available to first time customers.

The full day package allows you to dig into to 1 of our 8 syllabi. This includes a ground school, Variable Stability System ground simulator, and a VSS / In-Flight Simulation experience.. Pilots or engineers at any skill level are welcome.

First, you will pick 1 of our 8 course syllabi. After completing the entire course syllabus ground school and 2-hour variable stability ground simulator of your choice, you will pick 5 out of approximately 10 in-flight demonstrations. Choices for flight syllabus include longitudinal, lateral & directional, advanced flight controls (Up-and-Away or Terminal area), pilot induced oscillations (Up-and-Away or Terminal area), in-flight icing, and tours of the Cooper Harper and PIO rating scales. The flight includes approximately 1.0 hour of in-flight demonstrations. This experience is limited to groups of 2 per day.

The 5-day package includes a three-day ground school, a 2 hour variable stability ground simulator experience, and a 2 hour variable stability aircraft in-flight experience. Pilots or engineers at any skill level are welcome.

First, you will pick 1 of our 8 course syllabi. After completing the entire course syllabus ground school and 2-hour variable stability ground simulator of your choice, you will fly all the in-flight demonstrations included in your chosen syllabus. Choices for flight syllabus include longitudinal, lateral & directional, advanced flight controls (Up-and-Away or Terminal area), pilot induced oscillations (Up-and-Away or Terminal area), in-flight icing, and tours of the Cooper Harper and PIO rating scales. The flight is approximately 2.0 hours long.

This 5-day package is our professional option. This includes 3 ground schools, 3 variable stability ground simulator sessions, and 3 actual variable stability aircraft in-flight experiences. Pilots or engineers at any skill level are welcome.
